Even better than I expected...
-Joshua, supportive husband

I thought the voice was very engaging. I was drawn in - read the thing practically in one sitting. I am really glad you wrote this book. It is a difficult task to write a book whose thesis has to do with the fundamental privacy and intimacy of a process/issue/moment that society has decided is a public one --while at the same time being open enough and frank enough to demystify the parts that society ignores and keeps hidden. I am not sure that anyone else could have struck that balance.
-Nora Hughes, feminist lawyer

Well if by being "dangerous" your inspiring other women to take charge of their bodies and their births then more power to you!!
-Jolene Duggan, pregnant military wife

Wow. This book seems to be making quite a stir on Amazon....I love it. When ... people come out in full force to gang up on you, you know you're on to something special. Although I personally preferred a hospital birth over a home birth, I am supremely glad to see females take back the control to make more and better-informed decisions regarding childbirth. I have to really promote and respect those who get the word out about the CHOICES (all of them) that women have earned the right to in our country. Next friend who gets pregnant, gets this book from me.

I cannot put down In Search of the Perfect Birth! One minute I'm angry and want to scream the next minute I'm sad and want to cry and then I'm esctatic and smiling ear to ear! Oh what a book! This is a MUST read for any pregnant woman, heck ANY WOMAN, no matter what your "birth plan" is!

I know now it wasn’t my body that betrayed me. It was trying to protect me…

I’m not sure how I’m going to get back to that place. I’m sure it’s going to require a leap of faith. A leap I’m a little closer to taking because of your book.

I just wanted you to know how much your experiences meant to me. You’ve given me a wonderful gift. I’m infinitely grateful.

Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart.
